Welcome back!

So, does anyone even read this anymore...it's been a long time friends. Forgive me for my abcense. Life has been the epitomy of busy here in my world, and just to prove that it's true, my legs are killing me right now!

We (as in Jonah and I) began our full-time gig @ the preschool in August. It's fabulous, really it is! It has already made a world of difference in us both thanks to less stress, more money, and structure. Jonah is talking a lot more, so now I can understand him 80% of the time. :)

We had his 2nd birthday party today. I am exhausted! There were only 6 kids (including Jonah) but ground up Goldfish crackers are no picnic to get out of the carpet. My parents sent Jonah a gift-card for Toys-R-Us, so we took him on a shopping spree. Believe it or not, Jonah seemed to have the idea that he had a set amount of money, and he was pretty picky! He ended up with almost all art stuff. I have to say, I was (am) proud to see him following in my footsteps in this way. He behaved well at his party, and was sweet - thanking everyone for his gifts and doling out hugs. OKay, I have to stop and remind you all that this is Jonah I am talking about. The same kid who is a holy terror 1/2 of the time...he acted like a perfect angel on his birthday. I guess that was his gift to us! Thanks, my man!

I will post pics shortly, but for now I am going to go crash! I promise a better post later!

Oooh! I'm still here! I still wait on the edge of my seat to see what the Z's are doing in life! So glad to hear that the party was a success - goldfish crumbs are the ultimate deciding factor to see if a party was successful. Jonah sounds like he was a total gentleman for his birthday bash. Just to let you know: you won't see that side of him for about another year and a half :)
