Big News! I got to sleep in today, and it was fabulous! Jonah turned two on Tuesday, and I suddenly noticed that he no longer resembles a baby in any way, with the exception of the diapers, which we hope to be rid of sooner than later. His head is no longer grossly disproportionate to his body . . . (now don’t pretend mamas, you know for a time all our children looked like aliens with these huge heads and little bodies ( ) He has long legs and stinky feet. He is officially a real boy . . . as opposed to the wooden boy he was once? Hee hee.
I am easily amused, and when he’s not driving me to the brink of insanity, Jonah is a great source of wholesome entertainment. Today I overheard this “conversation” between Jason and Jonah:
- Jonah - Daaaaaaadddyyyyyyyyyy!
- Jason - Yes, Jonah?
- Jonah - Daaaadddyyyyyyyyy . . . .
- Jason - Yes…..Jonah, what is is?
- Jonah - Daddy?
- Jason - *sighing loudly* Jonah! What is the problem?
- Jonah - *giggles evil-like* blah blah blah blah … wiggles….blah blah…..elmo….blah blah…milk (the blahs are all the words we didn’t understand)
- Jason - HUH?!
- Jonah -( repeats his montage, word for word)
- Jason - HUH?!
- Jonah - repeats himself AGAIN
- Jason - HUH?!

I cannot believe how much Jonah has changed. You're right. He doesn't look anything like a baby anymore. Isn't it amazing how quicky the time goes by? I can't believe Alex is going to be 2 soon. Jonah is TOO CUTE! I hope he had a nice birthday.
