Boxes boxes everywhere . . . I feel like I live in a cardboard city! As you can read, we are preparing to move. The big day is next Saturday. I am SO thankful for this long weekend to get everything packed, but stressed b/c that means living amongst even more boxes. We're also housesitting for some friends who live down the street which means we at least have a refuge to go to, so we get away from the craziness!
In other news, in a bold move to really conquer our debt, we sold the beloved Honda Accord in order to free ourselves from our "stupid" car payment. No car payment less the insurance means lots more money for the Zs! We were able to purchase another "Dave Ramsey" car from a really cool couple ( a friend of a friend) type of thing today. So now I am driving a cute little red Saturn. I like it, albeit it's not much to look at, but who cares?
My last day at the YMCA is August 4th. I will still be working there, only on Sundays now from 1-4. I just couldn't make myself let go of that place. I have been there for nearly 2 years and have made some great friends. It's just an awesome enviorment to work in. So where will I be working full time? I don't know yet! I am trying to wait ever so patiently to hear something (anything!) from Metro Public Schools. As you all might remember, I applied for a high school English position in May - although I am yet-to-be-licensed to teach. Which means I will be their last resort. Which means I will literally know the week before school starts. Auuuggghh! If I get a "nay" from them, I already have a position as the 2 year old co-teacher at the day-care I am working part time at now. I like both places, the money will be good at both places, Jonah will be happy at both places. It is a pretty-much win-win situation. Still, I am a little ball of stress! Please Lord grant me peace!
So, I better get back to packing. Jason took Jonah to Chick-Fil-A so I could have some alone time. I love it!

Just wanted to let you know that there will be light at the end of tunnel. We are for the most part all settled in except for a few boxes that have cds, movies, books, etc. Moving is an exhausting process! Hey, if you need some more boxes, let me know! We'll see you at the picnic tomorrow!
I'm with you on the boxes thing. We just moved this past weekend. Today's Tennessean had a story on moving and mentioned that the average move of a three bedroom household is about 8,000 pounds. Going by that statistic, my teenage son and I are true He-Men.
Best of luck with your move. If you need help, let me know.
