I just have to do a little bragging today. It is mother's day afterall, and I am a mother - so there. First, I am in the best of moods because this has been a fabulous day. Jonah's "eye-teeth" (also called canines, vampires, etc...) have taken a break from piercing through his little, tender gums, so he has, in turn, taken a break from screaming, drooling, and having a fever off and on. I owe this one to the Lord, "THANKS!"
Jonah looked very cute for church. Actually we all looked cute for a change. Sometimes it feels like we just fall apart by Sunday. We spend all week trying to look decent on purpose, then we might try that again on Saturday if we are going "out". So by Sunday, we're just tired. Sometimes I am amazed that we make it to church in one piece let alone, looking nice. But today, we all looked well-groomed. Church was great; the sermon rocked; the choir sounded awesome despite low attendance. Man, it was just a nice day! Jason made lunch; I got to watch a chick-flick, and Jonah has slept all afternoon.
No, I didn't get some elaborate gift or lunch at a fancy resteraunt for mother's day . . . we just don't have the money right now. Still, my family, who are just incredible, made this the best mother's day I could ask for. I feel relaxed and so very, very blessed. What in the world else could I ask for?! Oh, maybe flowers, but Jonah's Sunday school class gave all of us mommies a potted flower with ladybugs on the pots made from their thumbprints! Precious!

That's great! I totally agree. I was telling Jacob that although we're both dead tired (from having a newborn who wakes up every two hours at night) I wouldn't trade it for anything. I think lack of sleep is worth it to have two amazing boys! I know Jonah is an amazing boy, too. I'm glad you had a great Mother's Day! You know we all deserve one. Ha!:-)
Ya Ya!
Your day was truely blessed with a wonderful family that demonstrated their love on your special day
