"I Shake my Fist at you, American Idol!" BLAH!

MAN! Did I hear that right on the radio this morning? I've never been that into American Idol, but I was SO rooting for Mandisa. I mean, she's a Antioch girl, and she has such a great voice. I'm just disgusted. So, I guess that's the end of my love-affair with the show. She was really the only one I watched, so nowI better find something else to do on Tuesday nights. Hopefully, and I REALLY do hope, she will go on and make a gospel album. I will buy it!

I know you're all rolling your eyes at me, so I'll stop my ranting!

I went with a group of moms (and one dad) from work and church with our kiddos in tow for a tour of one of the fire houses in Brentwood. It was really cool. Oh, except for the part where Jonah got the runs - nice, and I had to change him in the car. He's on his last couple of doses of Amoxicillan; it hurts his tummy! Then Jonah cried when the fireman put on his gear, but I guess to a little kid, that does look pretty freaky. Other than that, it was very informative and the firemen were all really nice. I think the next field trip will be to a bakery! Free cookies!

I secretly like American Idol. I was floored when I heard that she got voted off. I had her in my top three...the first night I heard her do "I'm Every Woman" I thought she was a lock. Her voice is so powerful and soulful. Honestly I can't believe Bucky is still there. There is no way he is better than her. C'mon America!

I can't say that I watch American Idol. I couldn't even tell you who is on it. I DO know that you are usually right on the money when it comes to singers and their voices. Maybe she will make a gospel album. She can dedicate it to her #1 fan -- Crystal! ;o) Hope all is well!
YA YA!
