You know I must be serious about losing weight when I will do 30 excruciating (okaaaayyy - a little dramatic, but the butt exercises hurt!) minutes of tae-bo on a Saturday so I could indulge in some Mayan hot cocoa guilt-free. Was it worth it? As Austin Powers would say, "Yeah Baby!"
We got a beautiful snow last night. It's ironic because last weekend the weather-people predicted this huge "winter storm" (ha ha) and we got maybe half and inch. You call that a winter storm? Puh-lease. So this weekend they called for 1-2 inches, a light dusting and of course we woke up to a beautiful white morning, icy roads, and all that jazz. Figures. We still went to the shoe store. A little slush wasn't going to keep me from a boot sale, at which I nabbed a fab pair of boots for $8 - go me, go me!
As indicated earlier, we went to our favorite indulgence The Cocoa Tree. Jonah pooped his pants right before we got there, and they don't have a bathroom. Nice. As we walked in I said to Jason, "Wow, doesn't it smell great in here?" I guess I am imune to Jonah's diapers by now, but Jason is not, because to him it smelled like a blend of poop and chocolate. Yeck. So, he handed the poopster to me. Ah well, we drank our chocolate and then dashed for the car to get home to give Jonah a change of pants and a nap.
