We got the white stuff - baaaabaaaay

Yeah, that's right! We finally got snow! We actually got a "fair dusting" and it was melted by noon. Still, the schools closed?! Seriously, if you want to move your children to a magical place where school is cancelled for things like rain, tornado warnings, and flurries - move here!

I could probably count on one hand how many times school was cancelled due to weather - and that's elementary through college! Sorry for the whining, but it's just not fair! Okay, enough of that; I am annoying myself.

Jonah thought it was pretty cool though. So cool that as we got in the car, he decided his hand was cold and promptly stuck his freezing digits down my shirt! YOWSA! That was cold!

So . . . I was supposed to go to a monthly work meeting last night, but it was cancelled due to weather. I wasn't too sad since it was the first night of American Idol! I feel sort of like a dork that Jason and I are into it, but so are all my friends at work. If you're going to be "dorky", might as well be dorky in a group of other dorks! The first night was good and bad, as expected. It still amazes us though, that some of these poor people think they can sing well enough to go and audition. Are they just surrounded by cruel people who love giving them false hope? Or do they surround themselves with others who are also tone-deaf. I don't get it, but it sure makes for good TV!
