Picture: Here's Jonah at the Y, giving little Elijah a push!
Wow, December 1st already?! It gets to be Christmas so fast around here! My favorite radio station has continuous Christmas music....which I love ( visit www.94fmthefish.net to listen on your computer) We have our little table-top fiber-optic tree up; okay so it's a little ghetto-fabulous, but a floor tree was a no-go thanks to Jonah aka - Mr. Search and Destroy. Having a kid does make Christmas so much more fun though. I loved Christmas as a child; it was always so magical. I want the same for Jonah. I especially want him to be in awe and wonder of the miracle of Jesus' virgin birth. We can't wait to tell him about Mary & Joseph, the stable, the baby Jesus, etc . . .
Jason and I are actually going on a REAL date this weekend. I know, how cool is that?! We're going to see the stage production of "It's a Wonderful Life" and out to eat. yay! Next weekend downtown Franklin becomes a Victorian English village for the Dicken's Christmas where all the merchants will dress up like characters from " A Christmas Carol". Before we know it, we'll be welcoming in the new year, sigh, it just goes too fast.
Well, Jonah had shots today and is currently wailing in protest of taking a nap...but I wanted to congratulate Jamey and Kellie Zaragoza on their new baby boy, Jackson Wayne Zaragoza - born Saturday, Nov. 26 - 7lbs. 8oz! Let's hear it for the Zaragoza boys! whoo hoo!
