Happy Fall . . . Ya'll!

Hello again! It's officially Fall here in Middle Tennessee according to the calendar, but it's still too warm and the leaves have yet to change . . . I can't wait! The Fall here is definitely my favorite time of year. We have a bazillion Harvest/Fall festivals, pumpkin farms, farmer's markets . . . lots to do to take advantage of the great weather! I sound like a travel brochure for Tennessee...oh well; it's all true!

Jonah loves the weather. He and I generally leave for the Y at 7am (on a good, not-running-late day) and it's a little chilly when we step outside. He raises his hands up like he wants to feel the cool air and squeals. You gotta love a kid who can really appreciate the little pleasures in life. He is the most "morning person" I have ever met. He's just all smiles when we arrive at the Y, while I probably look (and sometimes feel) like I've been run over a few times ~ that is until I get to the coffee!

Jonah is talking a lot these days, and sometimes we can catch a real word or two. He is very fond of a paper spider at work - little Halloween decoration thing - which he calls a "der der". I found out that he could say "that" while pointing at a co-workers lunch and yellling "THAT! THAT!" He's a mooch. He's into the stage now where Jason and I have to read a book not once or twice, but 8 or 10 times in a row until he's sastisfied. If we try to skip a page or read it in the wrong order, he gets all bent out of shape - he definitely thinks he's the boss...but he only thinks that . . . I think. His other new thing lately is that he LOVES to dance! Any music he hears he'll sway side to side, head bang, or do some Mexican hat dance type footwork. It is hilarious!
