From Baby to Little Boy

Oh my, it's happened! Only a week away from his birthday and my baby boy looks like a little boy! We went for his first haircut yesterday . . . grabbed the camera and our baby soothing devices (i.e. goldfish crackers, juice, etc.) and headed to a place up the street called Style America - kinda like Supercuts.

All went well until the actual cutting of the hair began, then out came the wailing, screaming banshee within Jonah. The girl who cut his hair was awesome; she didn't bat an eye, just kept on cutting no matter how he wiggled. That is talent! By the end he was just wimpering, but he quickly perked up when Jason showed him a butterscotch sucker! His hair looks so cute! No more mullet, no more wings. LOL! Seriously we knew it was REALLY time to cut it when before we got Jonah to the chair to get his hairt cut, the hairdresser asked, "How old is she?" I laughed and said," see - it's time! "

So here are a few pics of the ordeal. Don't feel too bad for him, he was fine the second the scissors were put up!

Are you kidding!! You don't know screamin'!! There's a little boy who gets his hair cut where I get my nails done and let me tell you, I've had some time to think this hair cutting thing through.

We should never say hair"Cut" to a toddler!! We should say styled instead of cut!! Another thing to consider is the reward sucker just out of reach!! Matt's was full of hair at his first haircut, but he didn't seem to mind and I was ecstatic!
