Here we are again!

Well, we had some technical difficulties on our last blog, but you all seem to enjoy readin' about the going-ons of our family, little man in particular, that we couldn't let it go!

So on the last blog (which is still there, Im just not able to add to it) Jonah had taken his first steps . . . somehow he has gone from first steps to full blown walking (and a little bit of running) in a week's time! Along with his mode of transportation, his personality is changing too. He knows he is running with the big boys now - literally! He is so giggly and silly lately. He loves to show out. It just floors us right down to the ground to see this little person who a year ago was so tiny, walking around like that's what he's always done.

So we didn't get blown away by what was at 1am tropical storm Katrina. She was just a little wind and rain by the time she rolled into Nashville. We got all prepared anywho with the water, flashlights, and batteries. We really did get out of that by the skin of our teeth, thank you Lord! Ya'll remember to pray for everyone down in our neighboring states of Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, & Alabama. It's so bad, and a lot of people here have family in those places. Pray pray pray.

To end on a light note - Jonah's birthday is Sept 12th. We're celebrating on Sept 10th with a little party at the park. I think going to the park is going to take on a whole new meaning now that he is walking!
